Customer Profile: Gunjan Sharma

Gunjan Sharma is a management consultant and given the demands of our busy lives, she believes that everyone should adopt healthy habits sooner rather than later. Most of her hobbies revolve around health and wellness: she loves reading, animals and gardening; in fact her friends describe her home as an indoor jungle! She is a regular customer at our HSR store and talks about her shopping experience.

The Organic World: What is your guiding philosophy when it comes to shopping for your home whether it’s for groceries, staples, homecare… 
Gunjan Sharma: I am very old school when it comes to shopping for my home and family – I believe in opting for sustainable and healthier options whenever possible. I wish it would be possible to go back in time and have the means to grow and cultivate what one needed – life would be so much better! I believe in quality over quantity. I often tell my friends that health and wellness is more than just a passing fad found within the pages of glossy magazines! I love organic and unlike most people organic for me is not solely FOOD – I look for organic options right from cleaning products to bedding.

TOW: What are some of your favourite items that you feel are a must-buy?
GS: I am crazy about Organic Dairy Products such as A2 Cow Milk, Cheese, Paneer and Ghee! I wonder how much garbage I have eaten in the past, but once I acquired a taste for this, there was no going back. Green vegetables, organic staples and fruits are also a big favourite. I also love the organic green teas and aroma oils – my day starts with the first and ends with the other. I recently tried some Organic Skin Care products like the Organic Harvest Face Wash and Organic India Facial Ubtan Cleanser – they were both amazing!

TOW: How has shopping at TOW helped enhance or change the way you focus on homecare or wellness or cooking?
GS: My dad introduced me to TOW in 2019 and since then I have always shopped here. I love the wide range of products available and not to forget their home delivery service (which makes life easier). Today 50-60% of my daily need products come from TOW. I can blindly trust the quality of the stuff I purchase here. Especially in this pandemic, TOW has been my favourite place to visit every weekend. The hygiene, service and quality is really great.

TOW: Has shopping at TOW helped you become a more mindful shopper?
GS: Oh yes, it has!  There are so many amazing options here that I never knew even existed in the market. I now slow-cook my meals in earthen pots. I have switched to organic products for my home-garden. We use natural insect repellents now!
